Trees and fountain at the city plaza were lighted with colorful Christmas lights to form as a showcase of the city government of Cotabato during the yuletide season.   Since Christmas is in the corner, this place will bring joy to everyone who will see the beauty of the place at night.

The plaza was transformed into a site where families and friends can go out and stroll at night and feel the spirit of Christmas.  Cotabateños will have another option of entertaining their eyes plus the new giant Christmas tree standing tall at the new city hall complex.

By chance I was able to take a glimpse of the scenery and was amazed about the makeover.  I never expected that it will look like this and this is something new not just for me for everyone here in the city.

Bureau of Public Information of the Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (ARMM) strengthened its ties with the local media in Cotabato City.  As their partner in disseminating information, BPI brings them together in a Christmas Party held earlier this month.

Games and surprises highlighted the gathering where most of the media enjoyed especially the winners who received prizes.  The gathering is an annual event that BPI organized as a form of gratitude for the partnership and support to the agency.

More than 70 attended the party including myself and witnessed the smiles and laughter’s of everyone around.  The party lasted for several hours and savored the food prepared for the occasion.  Certificates of appreciation were likewise given to some members of the media to recognize their efforts to the Regional government.
