January 10, Araw ng Koronadal, “Hinugyaw” Festival
@ Koronadal City, South Cotabato
“Highlighting the Foundation Anniversary of Koronadal, Hinugyaw Festival is a celebration of the different cultures that has dwelled on this fertile valley.  Activities tell how the historical stream of settlers coming from the different parts of the country had rolled up and contribute to what Koronadal today is, despite their cultural diversity.  Hence, the termed “the melting pot of cultures and the land of peace loving people.”

January 16-17, Halad sa Sto. Niño
@ Midsayap, Cotabato Province
“One of the most celebrated fiesta in the Province of Cotabato that give honor to the Holy child “Sr. Sto. Niño”.  Aside from religious rites, the event is made dynamic by street dancing and theater parade.”

@ Maitum, Sarangani
“This festival celebrates the abundance of fish locally known as “Bangsi” (flying fish).  A year round abundant catch made dried fish a thriving industry in the locality.  It made the place famous for its bangsi products (OTOP)”
