Good news good news and good news, that how Executive Secretary Atty. Naguib G. Sinarimbo starts the Tapatan Sa ARMM a weekly regular presscon of ARMM at ORG Conference Hall, Cotabato City.

COTABATO CITY: gRaNd TaLenT SeArCh

The City Government of Cotabato held the 1st ever Talent Search in the city open to the employees of the local government here.  Initiated by the Human Resource Management Office, the contest provides an opportunity for the employees to discover the talents they possess.

It is also one way of expressing themselves and serves as another avenue of fighting boredom from the usual routine they do from work. The talent search is part of the events of the annual celebration of the Sharif Kabunsuan Festival.


To boost the confidence of the contestants, the host performed first and it was followed by the other wanna be who wished to outstand and win.  The organizers aim for more searchees next year and a longer time to find the best among the best talented individuals in the city.

The contest was held on December 17,2010 at People Palace  where 12 finalists battled for the grand prize

3rd runner up Mr. Julius Panniago, 2nd runner up Ms. Jessebel Torquido and the 1st runner up Mr. Heintjie Gaya with his winning piece That Wonderful Sounds by Tom Jones

Grocers, Importers, Exporters and Industry (SDK) Association Chairman Mr. Chai Soon arrived in the city on January 23,2011 to look into the feasibility of the Barter Trading here in the region.
