bLoGfEsT 2010 SOCCSKSAGEN, eXpEriEnCe!!!

Partnership, friends, acquaintances and linkages came in my recent adventure in the world of blogging.  The Blogfest experience has opened another horizon of opportunities in the world wide web arena.

Many bloggers from south central Mindanao converge  in 1 day Blogfest in General Santos City organized by SOCCSKSARGEN bloggers.  Several speaker were invited to educate and provide pointers in order to make our blogs more enticing to eyes of the techi readers worldwide.

Held on December 11,2010, it was an opportunity for me as a new blogger to get involve and acquainted with fellows who does the same work.  Getting their insights about blogging is another most important prize I got in my attendance.

Educating myself in my venture to the e world is of outmost importance .  This is for me to be able to improve all aspects affecting my blog for all my readers continue reading what I am sharing.

I also got the chance to visit Sarangani Province and tourist spots located in the area.  Places I have not been to which I can say a perfect place where you can enjoy the beauty of nature.  The chance I  had that is worth sharing to all the Cotabateños who wishes to explore Mindanao and Sarangani is one place to go.

I wish that the readers, visitors and followers will be able to appreciate the changes in the coming days.  Watch out for it.

Trees and fountain at the city plaza were lighted with colorful Christmas lights to form as a showcase of the city government of Cotabato during the yuletide season.   Since Christmas is in the corner, this place will bring joy to everyone who will see the beauty of the place at night.

The plaza was transformed into a site where families and friends can go out and stroll at night and feel the spirit of Christmas.  Cotabateños will have another option of entertaining their eyes plus the new giant Christmas tree standing tall at the new city hall complex.

By chance I was able to take a glimpse of the scenery and was amazed about the makeover.  I never expected that it will look like this and this is something new not just for me for everyone here in the city.

cHriStMaS pArTy fOr mEdiAs, iNcLuDiNg mE...

Bureau of Public Information of the Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (ARMM) strengthened its ties with the local media in Cotabato City.  As their partner in disseminating information, BPI brings them together in a Christmas Party held earlier this month.

Games and surprises highlighted the gathering where most of the media enjoyed especially the winners who received prizes.  The gathering is an annual event that BPI organized as a form of gratitude for the partnership and support to the agency.

More than 70 attended the party including myself and witnessed the smiles and laughter’s of everyone around.  The party lasted for several hours and savored the food prepared for the occasion.  Certificates of appreciation were likewise given to some members of the media to recognize their efforts to the Regional government.
