sTaTe oF tHe rEgiOn aDdRess eXpEriEnCe: tHe uNfOrGeTaBLe oNe

Just recently I was one among the many witnesses  in a major event in the history of the  Autonomous Region in Muslim  Mindanao, the first State of the Regional Address (SORA) of the Hon.  ANSARUDDIN ALONTO ADIONG, the Acting Regional Governor.

As a new comer in this new form of media advancement on information dissemination, I feel very privileged  as one among the few who was given the chance to cover the said event.

Being a resident of Cotabato, the opportunity of knowing the victories, plans and programs of this administration is something worth knowing and sharing to all the Cotabateños. 

Hon. Adiong’s administration has achieved its crafting of the ARMM Strategic Action Plan or ASAP which now serves as our blueprint of development for the years 2010 and 2011.

The ASAP is also a continuation of the major efforts of ARMM towards peace and security, good governance, economic programs, social services and development, and priority infrastructure programs.

The address had garnered 108 times of applause and standing ovation twice from the audience.  After his speech, Hon. Adiong emptied the hall and immediately proceeded to the Regional Legislative Building.

A press conference came after in the office of Hon. Adiong to address the issues raised by the selected members of both local and national  media.

As a new blogger in the city I am most gracious to the head and the people behind BPI for this chance.  Now that I have your office as part of my journey as a blogger I am most inspired by the door that you opened unto me.
