COTABATO CITY - UNTIMELY DEATH OF DILG SEC. ROBREDO

City Mayor Japal “Jojo” J. Guiani, Jr. , together  with the whole city government of Cotabato, is deeply saddened with the death of DILG  Secretary Jessie Robredo.

The mayor extends his sympathy and prayers to the family and friends of the late secretary and says “Robredo was truly a great loss to the government. He had been very active in supervising the operations of all the local governments and other government agencies.”

Robredo has been to the city for several times especially when disaster struck last year. Cotabato City has been awarded the Seal of Good Housekeeping by the Department of Interior in Local Government for adhering to the thrust of President Benigno C. Aquino on transparency in government services.
