“Talakundong” is
derived from an Ilonggo word “kudong” which means head covering. It is a neo-ethnic cultural spectacles show
in hilarious street dancing and exhibition of “Kudong” accompanied by exotic
sound of percussion instruments. The
week long festivities open with a float parade and agro-industrial fair
showcasing Tacurong’s best agricultural and industrial products.”
