17-21TAMFAKEN LUM’ALAY FESTIVAL
@ Tampakan, South Cotabato
“This festival is originally conceived as a celebration of good harvest of the Municipality’s main agricultural products namely Lubi (coconut), Mais (corn) and palay (rice) as highlights of the Municipal Foundation Anniversary. Today, it also depicts the IP’s traditional practice expressing respect to spirits through offerings, hence the word LUMad ALAY. Street dancing, culinary arts competition, ballgames are among the center piece of celebration.”
