“Paskuhan sa Cotabato City is local festival commemorating the Christmas Season. Much-awaited activities include the lighting of the giant Christmas Tree in the grounds of the People’s Palace and the lighting of the Christmas Belen and the Christmas Village of the same venue. Lantern parade is anticipated to take place this year as another highlight of the event.”

“The crab is the city's OPOP-One Town, One Product. Cotabato crabs are much sought after both in the local and international market. Of export quality, our crabs are fast becoming part of every chef's favorite cuisine. This is the reason behind the celebration of the Crab Festival. A component activity of the Shariff Kabunsuan Festival, this event is composed of a culinary competition using crabs, crab race, biggest crab, and heaviest crabs, among others.”
